A very uninspired and insipid performance… To concede 3 before halftime is difficult to come back from and the way two of those were conceded was inexpiable.
Winning the away games invariably wins you the championship. 😯

With a penalty before the second minute ran out, #ManU had the opening goal 🎁 for them. With the mercurial Pogba, it was a formality. And with Luke Shaw slotting in a second in the 83′, it seemed to be a straightforward victory. But it wasn’t a walk in the park for the Red Devils. De Gea left a ball to hit the woodwork and the rebound had Jamie Vardy right where he wanted to be, to pickpocket a goal right at the end.

The resulting rather tame extra time gave way to the penalties before Jordan Pickford, the most expensive English goalkeeper, managed to block out Carlos Bacca and David Ospina failed to keep out Eric Dier.
